Populizr is a relatively new social media automation tool. Because of this, we had the chance to test pretty much all of the other publishing apps, and come up with a different, improved approach to social scheduling.
Populizr offers several scheduling plans that make it a breeze to fill out your monthly and even yearly calendar with important social updates. Our approach was to make the scheduling fast and easy, with focusing only on the main details, rather than overwhelming you with tons of features, settings, and gimmicks that only make your life more difficult. Our solution is to think long-term and organize your calendar for several months ahead, without spending tons of time figuring out the minutia of social posting. Below you can see the clean layout of a Monthly calendar view where you can see at-a-glance how much posting is scheduled for each day:
There are a few pre-programmed posting plans that we’ve made to make your life easier: Standard Scheduling Plan, Promotional Scheduling Plan, Evergreen Scheduling Plan, and a Custom Scheduling Plan. Let’s walk through the key differences and benefits of each plan.
1. Standard Scheduling Plan (30 days)
The Standard Plan has a duration of one month. So, if you want to post your content during this period, then this plan is the right choice for you. For each social media network, the number of posts is different:
- On LinkedIn, your content will be posted twice a week, same as on Facebook (the difference is that on LinkedIn the content is posted on your profile and company).
- On Facebook, your content will be posted twice a week. You can post your content on your profile, page, and group.
- On Pinterest, your content will be posted twice a week on your board.
- On Twitter, your content will be posted once a day on your profile.
2. Promotional Scheduling Plan (1 week)
This plan is shorter in duration than the Standard Plan. The duration of the Promotional Plan is one week. Also in this plan, there are differences between scheduling your social media networks:
- For Facebook, the posting interval is once a day, and it will post on your profile, page, and group.
- On LinkedIn, the posting interval is once a day on your profile and company.
- For Twitter, the posting interval is four times a day only on your profile.
- On Pinterest, the posting interval is also once a day on your board.
3. Evergreen Scheduling Plan (12 months)
The last one is the Evergreen Plan, and it’s the longest one compared to the Standard Plan and Promotional Plan. The duration of the Evergreen Plan is one year. In this plan, the posting interval is the same for all social media networks.
4. Custom Scheduling Plan
With the Custom Plan, you can set everything manually. The posting duration can be set to last one, two or three days up to one year. Also, you can choose how many times you want to post your content. It goes from once a day, once or twice a week, to once or twice a month. It all depends on how you organize your calendar.
